Why I'm in the Venus Network

Being newly immigrated I found the way to build a business is not similar to how it fell into place when I started off 17 years ago in my birth country. I knew wanting to build connection I have to put myself out there and be known.

Venus now means so much more than just building a business. My group and all the connections I make during RAVE's remind me of how fragile life is without backing and true connection. People need people for more than just providing leads. We need each other for the gentle nudge in the area where we find lacking, we need each other for just that friendly 'Hi", to be known and to truly get to know others.

Venus has helped grow my confidence in a new country, although slowly over time, as much as I am willing to let myself receive the input - this is that safe place.
