News from the South Island

It’s been a crazy busy month launching Dunedin and Queenstown. But what a pleasure to bring the Venus opportunities to these new areas.

Welcome to all of our new members and I encourage all of you to consider what business opportunities there may be for you in collaborations outside your own back yard!

Don’t forget to book a Power Rave with me if you want to make connections outside your own group or just go to the Venus website! I can do Skype RAVE’s with those of you outside of Christchurch.

Nelson group had a delicious Friday afternoon high tea party. Loved the photos they posted on Facebook!

Our Halswell group had a Facebook live video challenge where members posted their Venus story and it great to see some of the members really stepping outside their comfort zone in doing so but gaining confidence in doing live videos for their own business!

There is a collaboration afoot in the Papanui group with 4 members pooling their skills and services to create a Health & Wellbeing workshop.

Our 1st After 5 Event was really successful with a big thanks to Jade from our Merivale group for hosting that at Forsyth Barr

Our new Selwyn and Ferrymead group are growing well and its great seeing new relationships developing. Our Riccarton group are working hard this week putting all the final touches together for the Charity Celebrating Women High Tea Event raising funds for Aviva.

School holidays are coming up Mums but please keep in mind that all of our Venues have room for you to bring the children if they are old enough to entertain themselves.

Member Success Thought

Strategic thinking with your RAVE’s can reap great rewards.

Pre-plan what it is you’d like to know about this business women, ask the right questions to get the answers you want.

Put out there the challenges you have, brainstorm solutions! What support would you like, what support can you get. Are their collaboration opportunities?

Venus Academy Coming to Christchurch

Business Essentials – is the first 6 month’s program that we’re planning to bring to Christchurch soon.

The programs are being rewritten at the moment, expecting that soon and then we’ll be able to set a date and give you more of an idea on the content.

If you’re new to business or you need to learn business basics to build a thriving business this programme is for you.

Watch Facebook for more information.

Inviting Guests to Venus – One Month Free Incentive

I would love you to share the word about the Venus opportunities.

All guests outside the Venus network must be registered via the website before they can attend a meeting, or get them to ring me.

I want to make sure there is a spot for their profession and they know the membership information and commitment before coming along to experience a meeting.

I’ve posted some fantastic testimonials on your Facebook pages and would love it if you could share these with your own network!

Dates for your diary

Essential that you book from our Facebook posts that link you to Eventbrite.
