Whether you want to improve your everyday movement and mobility, posture, breathing, reduce stress or tension or untangle persistent pain—I can help.

At Movement Works, I help you get off autopilot and gently unravel habits that may be behind your pain or discomfort. You’ll be guided to discover easier, more effective ways to move (think movement re-education) so you can get back to doing the things you love, with more comfort and confidence.

I use a system of learning, awareness and movement called the Feldenkrais Method (it rhymes with nice), grounded in neuroscience, biomechanics and human development.

"NOT YOGA" MOVEMENT CLASSES
Known as Awareness Through Movement ®, these mindful movement lessons help you move better and feel better. Every lesson is different, so each week you discover something new about your habits, posture and movement. And the best part is that there is no sweating, pain or discomfort involved.

HANDS-ON INDIVIDUAL SESSIONS
One-to-one sessions tailored to your specific needs. Called Functional Integration ® these sessions bring together your skeleton, muscles and nervous system to unlock your potential for easy, pain-free movement. Great if you have a specific movement or pain situation you would like help with (from walking, getting up and down, doing housework, back, neck, shoulder or knee pain).


WORKSHOPS
Movement Works hosts regular workshops throughout the year both in person and online. The workshops are a perfect opportunity for taking a deeper dive into your breathing, posture and pelvic floor. Also a great introduction to the Feldenkrais Method and its benefits.
